Educational Sponsorships

For the last 4 years with the help of many kind and generous sponsors, Sionfonds sent hundreds of Haitian children to school. The need is great and it is hard to keep up with all the tuitions we pay. Any donations you can make will be greatly appreciated, we stretch every penny to educate as many children as possible.

Sionfonds, has two schools that we administer, one in Gaviollon near La Cayes and one in Masson in the mountains beyond Pettionville. Sionfonds also pays the tuition of 100’s of children in and around the village of Belle Anse.

In the areas we work there are no public schools, no electricity no services or help available to families wishing to send their children to school.

For $130 a year you can send a child to school for one year. The child will receive tuition, a school uniform and school supplies. You will receive information and a picture of the child you are sponsoring. You can choose what age student, you want to sponsor and if the student is a boy or girl.

You will also have the option of helping the family to become more self-sufficient. Sionfonds will send you our bi-annual Newsletters and sometimes art work or report cards from the child you sponsor.

Children in our program do not have to leave their families and go to work in the cities so they can go to school.  Sionfonds is dedicated to keeping families together.
